Is there anyone who has (or is able to make) an empty/blank/invisible model? I've never done any modelling before so I don't know where to start, and tutorials assume I want something present.

You could try just using a model that has no geometry.

    That's what I'm asking for.

Run the game and load it once
go into the mods folder and unpack the sbm file (rename the numbered mod file as a .zip), lightDummy.mwm in the models folder is a null model that you can use. Feel free to reference the cubeblocks.sbc file to learn how to use it.

Shaostoul made it and you have his permission to use it. The mod is mine and I give you permission to use this model as well :).

You will also need the Clear_* files out of the textures folder

GUI/Icons/ for the icon used in the SBC definition.

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted.

Invisible Armour Edges - an edge removal mod that doesn't involve redefining all the armour cube blocks.

    No thanks to me :(

Also nice idea I might use this.
