    That's because this option doesn't exist on dev branch, and I have to build SESE against dev. You can change it in your dedicatedserver.cfg

    so just had seserver essentials added to pingperfect server last night and as of this evening it's not doing much of anything as in I have server hangups of 400 seconds or greater. is this something to do with a recent update client side or plugin side?

    I'm going to start supporting both branches. The same build of SESE can work on both branches, so you don't need to do anything about it. With the ModAPI changes, I can't really make the same build of Essentials work on both, so there's now two separate releases. SESE checks versions, so nothing is going to blow up if you use the wrong version, you'll just get an error message.

    About the PB blacklist thing; this lets you disable specific functions in the PB, so you don't have to disable it completely. A few that I would recommend blacklisting are IMyRemoteControl.GetFreeDestination and IMySensor.LastDetectedEntity. When you add something to the blacklist you have to specify a type and a member. In the first example, the type is IMyRemoteControl and the member is GetFreeDestination. You also have the option to blacklist entire types. So if you provide IMyRemoteControl with no member, programmable blocks won't be able to access *anything* in IMyRemoteControl.

    There's probably others that should be blacklisted, but I'll leave it to you guys to compile a list of those.

    I forgot to mention, but I updated the client mod, so when you paste a GPS coordinate into server chat, it will properly be added to player's GPS menus

    Im added the new version to the server, i see in the Mods/Essentials folder where i put the new DLL in a file named: Essential-PlayerLogins.xml
    so it does someting now, but still i don't see the XML file that should be generated when server start up. beside i can now also do ingame: /admin settings
    then i see the settings that should i see in the XML config file. but i can't dow anything ingame.
    and the SE server version is 1140007 that should be good as well.
    Is the project SESM really on hold?? no more updates?
    Last question :) where should the XML config file from the DLL will be generated?

    @ToTaLReFuSeD I don't know what the situation with SESM is, I have nothing to do with that project. As far as I know, he never updated it to look for SESE in the correct place. You need to ask in the SESM thread how to get it to download the correct version of SESE.

    That is not good. That is over six months old. The current stable version is 1.140

    Hi @rexxar, what is the state of block enforcement per player? by typeid and subtypeid. Works fine? or need some more work ? I have a mod on my server that controls the number of beacons per player , but i like to down this and use the per player block enforcement system of essentials . (in past time my server was falling with errors in the enforcement block by grid, because this i ask)

    Currently player block enforcement is bugged. Don't use it at all. If you ever turn it on your server will crash any time someone grinds down a block you had a restriction on. This is the leading cause of server crashes for me currently even though I now have it turned off...

    I just wrote a very useful utility for a separate project that will make a lot of things in Essentials a lot easier to manage. Once I get it working properly, player block enforcement and grid protection will be getting a rewrite.

    Actually i use only per grid block enforcement by sblocktype of essentials (refinery, assembler, shield, furnace, jump drive, drills) It seems to work well, but the enforcement per player gave me problems. I'll wait anxious that new utility Rexxar. Thanks!

    @rexxar Can you add a function of auto-ban or auto-kick for accounts using "family sharing" sometime in the future? I've banned one guy (for griefing) 6 times in 1 hour one day because he used 5 accounts with Space Engineers shared on them.

    @rexxar I think you can, because there is different steamid64 on session request and authentification ticket response every time somebody using family sharing. That's why I know that this guy used family sharing, actually.

    Also i wait anxious new corrections to system of enforcement, since it will be able to limitper player per grid some things, which will keep controlled the abuse of certain blocksthat cause instability or lag in a server (lot of refineries, etc) (i use this system much now, but limited to per grid)

    It would be very interesting to make this system also enforcement by faction. Imagine you give 1 shield by faction, or one nanite factory per. It is more challenging and also helps the server.
    In my server I'm waiting for this to work, so that when the player raises "1 tier" in the tree of technology, access to 1 additional beacon at that level where you can make 1 extra large ship for each level of the tree(in lowest tier you can make only one large ship per player). And so i need to use the enforcement of a beacon per player. It is thus limited to one beacon of each type per player in currently tier.

    Hello all, i have updated all the versions
    also downloaded the dedicatedserver.zip from the Tools (steam, gamefiles, common) and put all in the dedicatedserver64 map.
    start the seserverextender.exe and i get this error:

    please Help ?? (i checked the .NET framwork etc on the windows server 2008 r2 machine and all is ok and up-to-date)

    Windows has decided to not trust the dedicated server files for some reason. I don't know enough about it to tell you why, but it's not something I have any control over.

    one moment its working then it just stops.... !?!?? it used to work this started about 3 weeks ago so we cant use extender anymore.

    Hm, the socket thing appears to be related to the fix I added for Steam. Just use the previous version of SESE and cry when Steam thinks you're playing SE. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I have a couple of problems currently. The server doesn't remain stable and stops responding multiple times. I am on the dev branch so I figured this is to be expected although I haven't been able to figure out why. I have SESE set to Auto restart once it detects the server stopped responding. It works all the way until it brings up the gui. It doesn't actual following through and start the server. I have to select the "Start Server" button. I know I am doing something wrong, but can't locate what it is..
