    Hi keen, thanks for the fixes this week. Glad to see that the armor blocks got a re-texture! That was needed, anyone could see how ugly ships looked.

    Disappointed to see that welders are still broken... They were fine for the last three years, you don't need to fix what isn't broken, will never understand why (same as the windows) you cannot simply revert them back to the way they were the prior week. But oh well.

    As usual, I ask that you please provide more guides on visual scripting, which if you haven't noticed just about no one is using (three guesses why).

    I would really like it if the devs post minor patch notes about stable too, as i just got a 190mb patch for stable (im not on dev at all) and i dont know what was changed / fixed / or broken now :/

    it was white before... now landing gear are always white when 'on' and not 'ready' or 'locked' or set to 'autolock'

    - fixed particle effect after projectile hit
    - removed installation of Win7 platform update

    Great news about more survival scenarios and game modes, IMO right now that is what this game needs to help get people playing again. I love PVP survival and all, but the game needs a base defense now that cleanup is working, and it could really use a red vs blue base defense mode. Have outlying bases to capture for resources, some asteroids near your "base" for basic mats and then have rare roids in the middle to be contested. Also maybe a planetary base war map, atmos only no space flight, where you would again have to kill the other base on the other side of the planet. Convoy escort missions Where there is a SUPER DENSE object, say the obelisk or maybe something a bit smaller, that you really can only transport with wheels because a ship would be too hard. I mean there are so many great possibilities but we need keen to give some good solid examples to inspire more people to make awesome scenarios. The intro campaign also was awesome, need more of that as I am sure the plan is to add it (especially with a planned xbox release, look what happened to titanfall). Look at arma and all the different awesome game modes and that should be the inspiration. Near endless missions, multiple awesome game modes, all build from the core game engine.

    tl/dr:Loved the update, need more official missions and scenarios

    There's a current thread on the bugs forum re: large block ion thruster block damage being weird (having been changed to 4 blocks for small ions), but this update has added another strangeness, this time with small grid ion thrusters. According to my very extensive (2 minutes) worth of testing, it looks like small block both large AND small ion thrusters now do zero block damage, even at maximum thrust override. Player damage seems to still be there. in this screenie, those two test thrusters are maxed out on override, but after about 5 minutes, zero damage to the blocks in front of them, even though they're /touching/ the cone of the thruster.

    Whats the deal with having the camera reset after letting go of alt while in third person mode? :(

    Was it hard for new players to be able to get the camera back to facing forward again? /s

    So there is a new wheel, for each size, called mirrored wheel?
    Or the tire thread automatically invert when you place it on the other side of the vehicle?

    Hope it's the latest, having 3 more bloc in the bloc selection screen would be bothersome (like all the glass and inverted glass, its a real mess)

    So no fix for batterys not charging when hitting recharge?

    oh and thanks, i didnt know they posted the hotfixes in there, I usually look at the patch for that day once and then never go back, guess ill have to look at them , still tho, they need to make it more announced somehow

    Batteries are still FUBAR :/ Atmospheric lander still becomes a ballistic projectile unless you perform a lot of acrobatics and settings changing within seconds of spawning.

    Another week of broken subgrids Q~Q oh well, on to the next...

    anything more than a few tonnes is going to have to wait until multiple pistons are fixed....

    On the one hand i'm VERY VERY VERY happy about mirrored Wheels (can we do the same for the Atmospheric Thrusters' spinning bits?). And cleaning up the Armor. And the central Blast Doors. Really, lovely job.

    I thought we were getting rid of unnecessary hardcore-repeating patterns? I mean yeah it looks better than before by means of getting rid of the scratches alone, and i AM very thankful for that, but... this still looks weird. Instead of having the Armor Ramp Slope-thingies building a coherent unit as before they're now obviously two (or in this pattern, four) blocks squished together. That... doesn't look good.

    This one strikes me more as an oversight: See the Light Armor Slants? Deliciously free of the repeating triangles. Now look a little up and check out the Heavy Armor. See the repeating triangly bits? The ones that're supposed to be gone?

    Also: while i'm happyhappyhappy that the scratches are gone... the Armor Edges now stick out even MORE than before. Personally i don't actually mind the edges - but i mind their lack on the Armor Ramps. This disconnect makes the Ramps look like modded blocks (reminding one of the edges-less Armor mods), which, again, wouldn't be that big of a deal if they weren't supposed to connect with/to the regular Armor.

    I give these changes an 8/10 for the Light Armor (Malus for inconsistent Edges and Armor Ramp nonsense) and 6/10 for the Heavy Armor (Inconsistent Edges, Armor Ramp nonsense and skin-decease Slants).

    Blast Door Central block: those are great, 10/10, as they should have been from the start. (well, start of the new blocks.) Still, the same problem as before persists with the Blast Door edges. Specifically the corner one that makes mirroring it a headache and a half.

    It would be really good if the DEVs/MODs would put a locked thread in the bugs area where they would acknowledge when bugs are reported and verified so that there would be a concise list of what is broken. Perhaps then they might start fixing them.

    I concur, you can see the tyre appears transparent from some angles. I'm sure they will get the graphics team right on that looking for a fix! :D

    I feel like they either slightly nerfed Thrusters or Inertial Dampening. My Airship now has trouble staying afloat, periodically dipping to 0.1 to 0.3 m/s downwards. At first i thought it was just getting too heavy but yesterday's WIP version does the same and IT didn't have that problem; it also flies upwards like usual so.... i don't know what's borked here but something's borked.

    While I must say that the repeating triangles used to make me sick as well... I actually like the pattern on these ramp corners. It's not too obnoxious, it's not too plain and it allows for some more interesting paint jobs.
