[1.183.102] - Dedicated Server - Disconnected Objects may not be grinded properly

    I play on my dedicated server (nitrado). Whenever a object is disconnected from a grid by grinding the connection away it's textures float away (sometimes they don't), but the hitbox doesn't. Then you cannot grind away the block. This happens with all kinds of blocks on all kinds of grids. After leaving and rejoining the server or a server restart, the block disappeared.

    Have you received any feedback on this issue yet? I am having the same issue on my server and thought it was mod related. I went through every single mod and couldn't recreate the problem in a single player world.
    It appears to only affect dedicated servers almost like a sync issue.

    Hi
    Which mods do you have installed? I forgot to mention them. My mods are:
    Azimuths blocks (something like that im on mobile right now)
    This console mod for ships
    And the small ship mod pack

    It's not related to a mod. It's purely dedicated server. I tested with 0 mods and it still happens.

    Same thing happens when I'm on a friend's world. If it happens in creative mode you can't delete them nor grind them. It fixes when the server restarts, but I haven't tried re-logging.

    Same here. On my DS when grid is disconnected for some reason (doesn't matter what reason) it becomes visible but can't grind it in any way. I can confirm it happens only on DS as I checked single player and everything is all right there. De-sync issues definitely.
    Restarting server helps, re-log not always.

    Hello, we are having the same problem on our dedicated server. We started to see this behavior after the update 2 of 1.183 too. It's a modded server but we tested without any mod and still the bug persist. If we load the modded or "unmodded" save in solo it will work perfectly...

    I can confirm this issue on our dedicated server as well right after the latest update. The hotfixes do not address this issue unfortunately.

    Same here. Even when you delete the disconnected parts with the admin tools, the grids are still visible.

    New hotfix 1.183.103 is out. It should contain the fix.

    Hi, Ondřej Nahálka. Yes, 1.183.103 appears to have fixed this specific bug. Thank you.

    But the inventory bug still persists, which makes dedicated servers unplayable at this time. I hope this is currently being looked into as well. :(

    regarding the inventory bug: no steps to reproduce at this moment

    we cannot fix it without exact STR... but we are working on it :)

    There are many posts under "Bug Reports" regarding the broken inventory issue. Here's one that I've recently responded to: https://forum.keenswh.com/threads/1...does-not-update-when-items-are-moved.7396761/

    It's been around for a little while but with the introduction of 1.183.100, it went from once/~3 hour occurrence to once/30 second occurrence. The only way to fix it is to restart the client which gets aggravating doing it every few minutes.

    Yes, there are many posts and many situations, but no exact steps to reproduce. We are still looking for the simulation with 100% repro rate. It is really important for our programmers.

    On the server i play there is still that issue with blocks not been grindzble once they float off the structure.

    Could you please provide the video?

    Did you update the game (v1.183.103)?

    The global problem with the grinding or removing blocks (ghost blocks) is really fixed, but it is not excluded that there are still corner cases in the game. Catch and beat them! :)
