I'll second this. I'm also seeing intermittent issues with refineries not processing ore. Failing to refine while powered and switched on.

I can confirm both. our refineries and arc furnaces quit so I created new world and they worked in the new world. Didn't see any invisi asteroids in my old world but plenty when I loaded a new world in survival. Created a second new world in creative no invisi asteroids. Switched to survival and BANG invisible asteroids.

Still having the same disappearing asteroid (or parts of asteroids) issues as last week.

So far I have also observed about a 50% chance that, when starting a new world, for all asteroids to be permanently invisible, until I save/quit, and reload.

Clearing the ShaderCache hasn't had any affect for me, first time or follow up loads.

I cant mine it, I cant delete it with the voxel blocks, and I walk right through it, so its just texture, its not solid

I have disappearing asteroids in creative, both on an old save and a new game :( NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

Edit: I tried the so called fix of deleting the shader cache and it worked at first but within the first 10 minutes of mining ( during which, mined voxel textures took about 30 seconds to disappear, letting me bury half my ship in mined but not cleared asteroid ), the problem came back.

    Ah, a fellow libertarian? LOL

Seriously and Personally, I agree with ancalagon(take me away). I pretty much just play Emperion until what pisses me off about Space Engineers gets fixed... and vice versa. Rant Alert: The game industry dysphoria comes from having a new-age terminology of alpha/beta and the more or less recent "crowd funding" thing lending the pseudo-terminology of "Early Access" which, lets face it, is pretty much a way for devs to shovel coal into the firebox of our lovely hype-locomotive or maybe just another way of saying, "reverse play testing". (There was a time that testers got paid for this kinda thing but Dopamine is a hell of a drug) But to side more with the devs, there has been a lot of stuff to go into preparing for planets. Regardless of your own personal concepts of what should be done for the game, there is an overwhelming response to planets. The votes are in and Viva-la-democracy... or whatever.

    TL;DR:
make a batch file(something.bat and you better know what batch files are!) and put this in it...
    del C:\Users(yourname)\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\ShaderCache
    start Bin\SpaceEngineers.exe
... in Space Engineers Steam folder and use it when you want to play SE, for now. Sucks, I know but, Welcome to the wonderful world of Early Access and Reverse Play Testing!

TBH Early access has been nothing more than a corrupted system for devs to greenlight their crappy games to make a big buck. watch this video. He will explain what im referring to.

While I agree with you, Keen should not be blamed for this kind of argument in the video. They are not taking advantage of their fan base.

The issue is not being on early access, the issue is trying to get an update every week, which most of the time is rushed, without enough play testing. Working under pressure is extremely stressful, I really really hope Keen change this to something more reliable. They should not work on a feature like this was a finished game, hoping to deploy it only when it's done.

Just create 3 public branches: stable, unstable and nightly, push everything worked during the day to nightly even if it's broken, doesn't matter, here are to people mess around, see what the developers are doing, this is early access! Push things that are almost done but still have things to finish to the unstable branch, this can happen each week, every 15 days, doesn't matters. And keep a minimum stable game on the stable branch. So we can have servers running, communities growing and stuff like that. Instead of having people buying dedicated servers that are 4 days of the week with 0 players because the game is unplayable.

its not about the buying part that im talking about. its the scamming part that scares me and almost everyone else. and they can get away with this from lawmakers

OH COME ON! this game is good, so what, a few bugs in the way, THEY WILL fix it, you obviously do love the game, up until now, otherwise you wouldn't of bought it, where is your common sense? you're paying for the game and YOU'RE getting it, where is the scam? the game is playable, its not fully defective and its constantly being updated twice a week, there is no scam

Trust me, if keen were scammers, they wouldn't be on steam, they wouldn't have gone this far with their company and they wouldn't have an office and they would of abandoned the games looong ago. You either don't know the full meaning of a scam if you're complaining about a few bugs on an early access game. Of course ITS GOING TO HAVE bugs, you paid for early access, keen are doing all they can to make everyone happy, you're the one that's trying to bring down their profit of a game that hasn't been released yet

at least keen has awards and trophies Awards or did they "scam" that too?

Issues with disappearing blocks as well. Had several light armor blocks vanish while building in creative mode. I could highlight them and delete them but they were invisible. Also hydrogen thrusters are showing an error box or completely disappearing at a distance.

Confirmed - 2 weeks now without being able to mine. I still don't understand the priority of these bug fixes.

Still no better than 105. Asteroids disappear when I get near them or sometimes just parts. At times, parts will come back only to disapear again. AMD A8-5600K, 8GB RAM (up to 4GB available for graphics), Win7 SP1. DX11.

Still having this problem too. Clearing out appdata/roaming/etc fixes the problem temporarily, but needs to be done every time I reload a game.

I think what we mean here, rather than scamming, is developers naturally being opportunists, cutting costs, and taking advantage of a new age system of terminology and a more socialist type development community that has grown from crowd funding and social networking. It's only a scam after lawyers decide so and the majority agree with it. Regardless, this is the bug report section and I apologize for ranting and we probably should just be talking about ways to fix the client so we can test the game and help Keen fix it rather than argue about how much of a fan we are or how bad we feel about spending our money the way we have when we could have researched more or taken less of a chance in the matter.

If you know how to make a batch file I posted a two line one earlier in this thread that you can use to do it and launch the game in one go. Just make a shortcut to it and plop it on the desktop/quickbar/magic location of your choice.
