Certain particles, particularly the welding and grinding ones, disappear immediately once the tools stop creating them. This is a recurring bug in certain updates, most recently re-introduced with the Major Visual Overhaul, 1.186.
There were questions before about what to do about making the particles fade naturally, but it's still irrelevant since the particles disappear on their own over time anyway.
Also related to particles, sometimes welding/grinding particles won't show up without multiple tries of your tool, and on occasion even the flame will be gone from your welder. This only happens occasionally, I believe in scenes of greater complexity, or situations of low performance.

Since update 1.186, drills no longer have the different sounds for drilling different materials, and all sound like drilling through stone or metal. This feature was introduced in one of the sound updates (The one introducing new ship enter/exit sounds, and the velocity-based sounds?), and was only just broken/reverted to how it was before.

A small sound bug, but pistons oftentimes won't have moving sounds until you turn them off and on again, after which the sounds for the toggled pistons will work correctly until you restart the world.

A model-related issue: Certain LODs don't have emissives on them, so you cannot tell their status from a distance.
This most prominently affects Solar Panels and Batteries.
Speaking of models, there is a small gap on the conveyor tube built in to one of the Upgrade Modules that allows you to see through it. I believe it's the Yield upgrade.

All these issues are still present in the latest multiplayer beta.
