    Hi Folks,

are there any information about ipv6 available yet?
I wonder whether or not i can use a static ipv6 address for the space engineers server instead of a static ipv4 address.

    Thanks for your help ;)

i _hope_ they're doing OSI separation and are when they do handle network addresses in code it in an agnostic data structure such as a string or character array.

for now you can get around it using various network pathing things, but I am sure you are already aware of that.

Care to give an example of what you mean, Drexic? Thanks!

I believe I fall into this IPv6 category, and am trying to host a group server, but failing miserably and believe this is the cause of all my problems.

If you have a IPv6 add and you need to use IPv4 Addressing then look at either a VPN or NAT64
