I'm more amazed (and grateful for) what hasn't changed. You can look at an 8 year old video and a current video and go, "they're playing Space Engineers." All this time people have been trying to get Keen to twist SE into something else and Keen has resisted. People don't get that in order get a video game to stand out, it must be distinctive. Getting it to look, play and feel like other games defeats that purpose.

What's really amazing, at least to me, is that I started building all the ships in my fleet at the same time that video was made, but my fleet is still here. They have all been kept up to date and continue to hold their form and function. My only regret is that I lost my first drill ship, John Henry, to a hard drive malfunction.

    **sniff**

I sense that Keen may be looking to do more things to "spice things up." I'll just say that all Space Engineers really needs is more vanilla blocks.

    It should be a chant.

    More Vanilla Blocks.
