    Stellarator or Tokamak (or FRC for you edgelords)?

    If you were going to bet on which one was most likely to be the first at successfully attaining economically viable fusion, which would you put your money on?


    I'd probably bet on the stellarator right now.

    I would say Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

    Back in 1951 they made very economically viable fusion. For a millisecond on average. In a relatively portable little can.

    Too bad none of those guys are around to ask how to push that genie in a bottle. we may have Fallout Fusion Cores by now
