Retailing's future?

    I suppose manufacturers will allow trade-ins for unsold merchandise and dealer discounts.
    Also, they'll likely provide loans to retailers at 2% for purchase of goods while getting loans
    at 1% from banks. I suspect this, of course, would be tax deferred rather than tax deductible.

    Then again, most allowed U.S. federal tax deductions in general will likely end up as tax-deferred
    income anyway with the federal reserve bringing lawsuits against many taxpayers who haven't paid
    deferred taxes due now that have been wrongfully claimed as deductions within the allowed
    time-frame for the tax year 1914.
