I am looking to create a headless script mod with a regular update, but I see no way to do this without using classes Keen has marked as obsolete. In the example mods I looked at, the classes derived from MySessionComponentBase. The compiler throws a warning telling you it is obsolete, instructing you to derive from MySessionComponent, instead. So that's what I have done. Unfortunately, MySessionComponent does not seem to give me the option of responding to updates in any way, shape, or form. I have also tried decorating a method with the Update or FixedUpdate attributes, and neither seem to do anything. Did Keen make a mistake with that "obsolete" designation, or am I just missing something? Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out: this.AddScheduledUpdate Thanks, anyway. I wish I could just delete this post!
