    Hi guys,

    I know theres a guide for making a respawn ship on Steam and I followed it. I know how to make one, update it from time to time and publish it. Thats all cool and it works.

    But what if I want to make a second respawn ship ? To me when I try, it detects it as an update ? Maybe I missed something ?

    btw, the guide if its going to be useful to find why it doesnt work is found here : http://steamcommunity.com/app/24485...wsefilter=trend&requiredtags[]=-1#scrollTop=0

    You need to change the SubtypeId if you want it to be a different object, this goes with all things in the game that have type and subtype.

    to my knowledge, they are different. 1 is named tiny respawn ship and the other is discovery repawn ship.

    Then I'm not sure what you're asking, you say the 2nd mod overwrites the 1st mod's respawn ship ?

    Ok, to be clear, I made 2 worlds. each containing their own spawn ship that I wanted to create for a respawn ship to publish on Steam. So I went in my first and did a large one. Did the work, followed the guide cause i never did it and it worked fine. Its currently published on Steam under my name. But when I made another world using the same guide but of course using other names for the subtype ID and all, when I published it, it asked me to update the mod... this is the wierd part. It should not ask me for an update.

    here are the .sbc data inside the frefab folder:
    tiny respawn ship...
    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <Definitions xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
      <Prefabs>
        <Prefab>
          <Id>
            <TypeId>MyObjectBuilder_PrefabDefinition</TypeId>
            <SubtypeId>Tiny_Respawn_Ship</SubtypeId>
          </Id>
    ........

    here is the one for the large ship :

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <Definitions xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
      <Prefabs>
        <Prefab>
          <Id>
            <TypeId>MyObjectBuilder_PrefabDefinition</TypeId>
            <SubtypeId>Discovery Ship</SubtypeId>
          </Id>
    ......
    I made sure that both ship are different in names. I hope that clears it up

    Ah, you copied the modinfo.sbmi file from the other mod, that holds the info to what ID it was uploaded so that's why it tells you it will overwrite it.
    Delete that file for mods that you want to be created as new ones the next time you publish.
