Ship I've recently finished working on. Took far longer than it should have due to my decision to use heavy armor for the exterior, which was kind of pointless and I hate the camo. But saves me from having to go back and upgrade later. I had planned on painting it after I was done, green was temporary. I'll get around to it eventually.
Entrance is centered and has a catwalk to board whichever ship/station is docked. Has a connector on both sides, but this is the only one protruding. The other is for a fighter that fits flush along the hull.
I should have got better lighting for this. I had intended to make the hangar far longer, but the ships mass at this point was getting out of hand so I kept it short.
102 total thrusters. Thankfully with the addition of batteries, I save a ton of uranium when I decide to move the damn thing.
Inside the hangar, my two sided welder ship. That's not the ship that usually hangs from there, the other actually matches color.
Starting from the front of the ship, this is what I suppose would be hangar control, or a command room. You can pilot the ship from here, but there's an actual bridge that's armored.
Cargo hold sits between the hangar and bridge, the catwalk you see leads between the two.
But below the bridge sits this nifty hallway between the cargo hold and engineering. But anyway, back upstairs.

Just recently expanded this room after discovering some dead space behind a wall. Oops!
Reactors and gryos. There's 34 total, they continue down to the floor below.
Seen from the bottom floor, though the batteries kind of obscure things.
Standing in an area that will eventually be something, not sure what. Maybe after some more mods are released I'll be inspired. From here you can see medical and the mess hall (which also leads to crew bunks).
Can't wait for Deadtechs medical pack, will definitely make this room feel like more of a medical bay. The door in the back leads to a room with cryo pods.
This is a cramped corridor, but that's life on a spaceship. Next couple of screenshots are just leading out of this area.
That's about it. Thanks to all the modders who allowed me to give most of these rooms an actual purpose

@Farbender, I see a lot of mods involved there, but looks great overall Nice job.
Recently fooled around with the idea of a relatively cheap fighter/bomber for some planned faction wars.
It sort of looks like a Mig-21 humped some sort of attack Helicopter.
It's crazy fast for it's size.
Wow, that interior has made me very very tempted to try a few mods Farbender!
Yeah; the exterior of that ship looks fantastic, and the interior is sorely testing my resolution not to install any mods until the game is released ...
Introducing the RFC Mk 3 and 4 Rapid Fire Cannon. Other than ammo capacity they are more or less the same. Details can be found on the Workshop linked in my signature. The original plan was to make a stand alone weapon system that could be incorporated into others designs. Once I actually attempted that I realized it was WAY too big for a large practical ship. So I have decided to go ahead and turn them into a full ship instead with an emphasis on base defense. For now here are some pics of the design in its current form and I will post the finished product later.
P.S. I do have a redesigned RFC almost finished that is much closer to my original intentions and compact enough to fit on ships.

This is gorgeous looking so don't take it the wrong way when the first thing I wanted to do when I saw that was shoot it with my RFC weapons. Looks like a tough ship to crack.
Understandable I've shot it up quite a few times, rammed into my station and an astroid, and filled it with warheads.
That looks like an amazing ship Farbender. Love the interior and use of mods also !
Was toying around with a conveyor belt concept. Sadly the engine isnt capable of correctly detecting the movement below the astronaut and thus it "slides away" right below.
It can still be used for a conveyor belt system that uses wagons, as chain feed mechanism in connection with autolock landing gears or even as paternoster elevator.
DUDE! I was just looking around to see if anyone had done any work on implementing those in SE. You sir are a warlock.
That's unfortunate. Still great creation. Will it carry other items with mass (i.e non player)?
Yes it will carry blocks that have activated and powered AMBs. I did however not try floating objects yet. Though my guess is that only astronauts are affected by that bug.

Once you enter the ship from the hangar, you can either go up to the bridge/CIC (depending on which side you're in) or down into the mess halls.

I have been tinkering with some compact passenger designs and came up with a way to place 2 seats in a volume of W6xH51+D2 small blocks as bare minimum (not counting the rotor-stators per seat you need to place in the ship), stackable in series.
I guess it cant get any tighter without removing the hallway as the collision boxes just got a few cm left.
My current version however has additional connections at the back of the seats to prevent a rotation while in that bare design without walls behind. It furthermore consists of 6 series of the above mentioned order and thus contains 12 seats in volume of about 6x5x8 small blocks or 3m x 2.5m x 4m.
Each passenger has 1m room in width, ~1.25m depth and about 1m individual height + 50cm shared height (head area).

also working on the next iteration which might turn into an actual ship (not sure yet).
38 seats so far on the bottom, the top gets another ~40 to have a troop transport of 80 people in such a tiny space.
Man, riding in on of this things would annoy me like hell ..

Ok, this screenshot looks a bit confusing ..
These are 3 different fighters (small, medium, large) as seen on the top row.
The bottom row demonstrates their merge capability, 2 fighters can fight like one - the bottom of each fighter has a merger and a connector. They are cross compatible, so the largest one can merge with the smallest one. They are also thruster damage compatible, thanks to bottom thrusters that are mounted really high or recessed very deep inside the ships.
I stole the idea from Homeworld - Cataclysm, that game had a "Acolyte" fighter that would turn into an "ACV" with different abilities when merging with another Acolyte.
The 2 larger fighters are also modular, they can have rocket packs or reactor packs in case you need more fuel time than the integrated batteries can provide.
Man Brenner .. you sure know how to use lights and those ships are looking good!

The ship is 18m long, 11m wide, 5m high, can carry up to 88 passengers (who will ever need that many ;D), rotor dampened landing gears for hard landings and uses exchangeable batteries (a 3-batteries-pack) which lasts for 3 days on idle and 1 hour with full thrust in three directions simultaniously.
Heres 1 of my builds, well 2 with the small one shown in 1 of the images.
Both are carriers with the small one having 2 hangars and the large one having one large hangar (designed for a larger sized small ship WIP atm)
Smaller one has been named The Night Hawk, unsure as to a name for the large one (would love suggestions )
couple of pics are a bit shoddy (soz), interiors are done large one with all glass cockpit with an overhanging floor and seating for 28 passengers and 5 crew, large array of weapons strategicaly placed to cover as many angles as possible due to the size.

Holy shit, man! I remember you posted some screenshots a few weeks ago and I thought it looked fantastic. Now I can see it doesn't only look great, it also has awesome functionality - especially that epic autofire grav gun.
This is one of the best - or maybe THE best - SE ship I have ever seen.
The video is good too, I especially liked the part where you show layer after layer of your ship.
