I guess the collision box doesn't change when the turret is moving? So you could shoot through it without doing damage if it's facing upwards.
But it's still better than right now.

Actually no. The only thing this would cause is turret clipping while it moves.
    We don't want clipping.

He is talking about collision mesh. The collision mesh is indeed non functional on the turret right now meaning that the entire block space blocks the player, entities and anything really. (Unlike any other turret in the game right now).

Yeah it is pretty terrible and they should incorporate my new and MUCH better improved custom collision mesh/hitbox into the game this Thursday. :)

EDIT: Making custom collision meshes (or hit-boxes) is probably one of the things I am The best at, so enjoyable :)

I could make custom collision meshes(hit boxes) for Keen so easily. :D

That is the one thing I can't do with my mods.

When I make my collision meshes I just scale the model and it works. :D

Other ones I do the hard way by using shapes. :)

Clipping is only something you don't want when there's not a problem. In this case - the clipping is already a problem - this is a means to fix it. Your thinking backwards - the rest are thinking forwards.
