The tutorial starts with “Would you like to watch the video?” The video is too advanced for the beginner's tutorial, covering oxygen in much more detail, and going into “laser antennae” and “building a recycle line”. It might be worth shifting this option to the end of the tutorial.

Instruction panel 6. Oxygen tanks. “The ones you see here are full”. Point out the blue lights on the tanks (this is covered in the video, but the player could have started without watching it).

“This allows for less wastage when building airlocks.” Isn't the wastage in using the airlock? Perhaps something like ... “If you include this when you build airlocks, less oxygen will be wasted when they are used.”

Also, in the room after panel 6:

“Oxygen tanks can also be built into small ships to supply directly to the cockpit.” This is the first time the player has been close to a ship. You could indicate the tanks sitting behind the cockpit with a highlight or just describe what the player is seeing in a text box -- in which case, you could go further and describe all that he/she is seeing. Perhaps something like: “This is a small ship. The cockpit is to the right, with oxygen tanks just behind it. They are connected to an oxygen generator by a single armour block. Behind the generator is the main thruster area (the reactor and gyroscope are not visible)."

There's a comment somewhere here about “oxygen tanks are too large to fit through small conveyor tubes”. You've not covered how conveyor tubes work yet, so you could shift this line to the conveyor tutorial.

“Oxygen bottles can be filled by placing them into oxygen generators or tanks.” You could explain what's in front of the player: a tank on the left, connected high up, to a ?dispenser on the right. Is there a generator here? ... and bottles aren't placed into tanks, as far as I can tell.

Also “if you want to fill bottles from oxygen tanks, you will need to manually instruct them to fill or tick autofill”. You could illustrate this with an example.

Next to instruction panel 7 there's a medical unit. If the player's cursor touches it, an option opens up to allow the player to change suit colour. This doesn't seem to work. It might be worth inactivating this function in the tutorial.
