now I truly whish for a standalone server solution which runs on linux from console in 64 bit, so we can get our servers busy.

i didn't expect the infinity mode so fast however, great job.

Will the exploration feature work for previous worlds?

I guess it won't, it was selected at the droplist where you'd select asteroids in your world. Until it was changed, you can't edit that option when editing a world through the load menu.

maybe try taking a copy of that save and changing the settings could work, like how you switch between survival and creative modes..

Who's got his name in credits?

Also, I've lost my spawnship instantly... Went for a mining carriage.

    Buut, look what I've found!

Also 676K triangles. I guess they didn't apply those requirements for the first wave.

does anyone know if you are required to create a new world for the changes or does it just happen on your current world?

Anyone notice the dimension of the world now?

6.6 AUs in diameter. So the world has a radius from the origin of 3.3 AUs. Common Astrological definition of the outer edge of Sol's Asteroid Belt is 3.3 AUs. Coincidence?

2 entries in the Sandbox.sbc file when I went for max, Infinity, in the game settings:

    <ProceduralDensity>0.5</ProceduralDensity>
    <ProceduralSeed>1763206327</ProceduralSeed>

The world was Crashed Red Ship.

Seed number is obvious, density is, I suppose, how close the rocks are to each other.

Infinite Procedural and Unlimited world size.

Question is, can these entries be added to an existing world, and 'change' it? Let's find out.

    EDIT: HOT DAMN!

I added the 2 lines above, the first as it was, and the 2nd with a random 10 digit number, to a 1.061 save game, then loaded and started flying past the 'roid' field I had. Random rocks being generated. This is the BOMB Keen. :eek

All the original roids in my old world, plus more. This rocks!!
