Update 01.137 - GPU Particles & Projectile Impact Decals

    Summary
    This week we're bringing you an exciting update: the new GPU particles we've been teasing you with for the past few months! Please note that these are a work in progress, and we still have some tweaks and adjustments to make. Nearly every particle in the game has been redone and converted into GPU particles, allowing us to render many simultaneously without negatively affecting performance. We would also really like to hear your feedback and opinions on the particles, so be sure to tell us what you think in the comments or on our forums.
    We're also releasing the first batch of decals along with particles today. There are now decals for missile and bullet impacts, which should make your ships and stations look much more like they’ve been through battle.



    Features
    - new GPU particles
    - projectile impact decals

    Fixes
    - fixed text shadow textures
    - fixed crash when using mirroring with modded blocks
    - fixed incorrect mirroring block for Window1x2 SideLeft
    - fixed ore detection active before pasting ship
    - fixed trees have black texture
    - fixed marker display setting also affects button tooltips

    Update 006
    - fixed crashes in render
    - fixed audio crashes
    - fixed issues with programmable block
    - fixed floating decals
    - fixed spider damage
    - fixed connector power draw
    - fixed various issues with new particles

    Sparks should not fall "down?" in space...

    Maybe in artificial gravity?

    Flames in space will not trail behind unless the ship is accelerating, if the ship is moving at a constant speed the flames will not trail behind the ship.

    This looks amazing! Are the particles affected by gravity? It looked like they are in the video, but I didn't see much example of them just floating away into space as you would expect in the _absence_ of gravity.

    awesome update keen. nevertheless we need heavy fixes or on overhaul for collision and rotor/conveyor physics. is this planned for this year?

    The devs removed the film that's similar to the camera film texture, on the loading screen! Whoop!
